Yara Kabalan wins STRIPES logo competition
A passionate graphic design student at CIS Group Lebanon, Yara Kabalan deservingly won the STRIPES logo competition! The competition was launched on February 21 and students were given two weeks to create a logo for the project. We received over 20 logos after which it was narrowed down to 6 by CIS College’s department of arts committee. Following this, a voting form was launched where all project partners voted and selected the winning logo.
Putting her heart into it, Yara was able to showcase the center’s functions and mission in an elegant and simple design which made her outshine other competitors. Her logo summarizes teamwork and employment, the physical center and the training and education aspect. Yara received the prize and was interviewed by the competition coordinator. She explained her passion for visually expressing any concept or emotion. Yara’s dream is to become one day a professional in fine arts. When asked about her muse for this design her answer was that the idea behind STRIPES project is by itself a motivating cause. As a CIS group graduate herself, she is thrilled to be able to contribute to such an impactful project for herself and her fellow students.
Creating the logo paved the way to establish STRIPES brand identity and we are all happy to see this center gradually coming to life!
